At Resolve It, our dedicated team of professionals have decades of experience offering conflict resolution services. All work within the same framework, while some may have specialist areas of expertise. We work throughout Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough.
So, when you first contact us you can decide which of our team you’d like to work with. Or we can recommend the person most closely aligned with your needs, based on our initial discussions.
Conflict Resolution Services – The Process:
First Steps
An initial phone conversation will help both you and us to decide if we are the right organisation to assist you.
It’s Good to Talk
After we’ve decided to move forward, we’ll discuss the issue in more depth with you. Then make contact with the other party to see if they are willing to be involved. Once they are on board, we will arrange face-to-face meetings with you, and separately with the other party.
We can still help even if the other party does not wish to engage in mediation. In these circumstances, we can assist you with Conflict Coaching.
Moving on to Mediation
Mediation is voluntary, impartial and confidential. We facilitate the process, guide discussion and provide a safe and neutral place to talk.
You decide what is discussed and take responsibility for the agreements reached.
The entire process is confidential. But part of your resolution may be an agreement of what both parties can discuss with others.
Mediation has a very high success rate and most issues are resolved within the one mediated session.
We can involve two or more parties in the mediation process though normally there are two parties.
What our clients say:
Costs:
We always offer a complimentary, 30-minute, no-obligation initial discussion (STEP 1).
We’ll also let you know our costs and hourly rate at this initial discussion stage.
A usual mediation consisting of meeting with two parties separately, then facilitating a mediation usually takes about 8-10 hours. We agree in advance on how the client(s) settle our invoices; usually, this is split between both parties.
If you need conflict resolution services in Nelson, Tasman or Marlborough, we can help.
